Tunguska

Tunguska
Overall: 3
Graphics: 3
Interface: 3
Ok, now first off, I'd like to say that the intro for this game is totally sweet! The graphics are some of the most realistic ones I've seen done on the computer that probably wasn't done with actors or something like that.
From the intro, you gather that the game is this sort of power struggle between good and evil and you are the pawn.
It is more of a rip off of a tomb raider game. It's this sort of 3rd person game, that doesn't change camera position very well, and it leaves you sometimes looking for a better position to fight from.

Graphics/Display:

While the graphics in this game are pretty good, they aren't up to snuff in the age of 3d and 3dfx... You'd think that they would have put a little more effort into the grpahics. Don't get me wrong, they are pretty good, but not up to today's standards.

Interface/Controls:

The controls on this game aren't too bad, until you try to fight... When this happens, it totally sucks. You walk around using the arrow keys, which isn't too bad, but when you go to fight (spacebar) I spent along time trying to figure out how in the hell to fight! I happened on it by chance (why read the manual? heh) ... When you go into fighting, just using the arrow keys will punch and kick which gives you like no control over fighting... They should have worked out something better than this... I mean, who in their right minds would have come up with this form of fighting??? This makes the game almost no fun.

Multiplayer (if any):

x

Summary:

Another peeve of mine is the install... It's almost 300 Megs and no options or checking for space. It just goes into the install... If you don't have 300M free, then you run out of space, and it aborts... There is no small install to do or anything, just the 300M one... I'd pass!
