Zero Gravity Fighter

Great concept, bad implementation. I jumped into this one not knowing what the hell to expect and I was actually quite surprised for the better. I jumped into my Zero Gravity Fighter and figured out the default controls pretty quick and started flying around. I died within about 20 seconds.

Nice graphics, nice framerate on my 333A / VII combo. No chugging or lag. Eye candy was plentiful. From the spinning huge asteroids to the walls and tunnels that surround you, it looked good. Weapons fire wasn't all that impressive but there seems to new fad out there which demands all firepower have limited graphics in all these new games coming out.(sarcasm)

Another new thing I've seen with games. Touchy controls. You barely touch the key or joystick and you are doing a full 180 or 360 or something worse. Don't get me wrong. I've got my Quake 2 mouse sensitivity cranked up to about 58 now (if you know Quake you know what I'm talking about) but this game requires more accuracy when you are free floating in the air.

Multiplayer (if any):

gain, great concept, just a bad way to make it happen I suppose. Graphics are enough to make me check it out again and if I feel it's neccessary then I'll come back and mod this review, but I seriously doubt it.
