Dirt Track Racing

You are the driver of a car on a dirt track. You can have older cars to some of the newer formula cars, and there's quite a bit of variation with the cars. Varying speed, horsepower, things like that. It's not a bad game if they improved the graphics. The game is pretty solid, but I wish they also added in some sprints or midgets to race... I didn't see any in the game, although it might have them...

The graphics could use an update... It has options for all of the newest things out (D3D, Glide, Hardware, etc) but it doesn't seem to make any difference.. I used the glide drivers and the graphics were nasty for the cars... They looked like big rectangles with wheels and little lines and then a flat roof... I flipped once and all I saw where what looked like the rollbars and a flat outside...no kind of detail at all. I can say that the tracks looked nice, but that's about it...

Not much to say, the usual right, left, up and down, or the usual joystick ... It does say it supports force feedback though (although I don't have anything with FF) ... Nothing special here. The cars are sort of midline to control, it's not quite as hard as GPL to control, but it's tricky sometimes. The cars want to slide (but isn't that the whole play value here?) but you can control them without much trouble.

Multiplayer (if any):

It's a solid game for the gameplay, but the graphics need to be inproved upon to make this game really worth it. The AI is pretty solid and racing is pretty cool, once you get the idea of how to control your sliding...
