Hidden & Dangerous

Hidden & Dangerous takes place during WWII. Your an elite team of commandos that takes on specialty jobs deep in German occupied territory. To give you an idea, your first mission (each mission is sub-divided into 4 smaller missions) is to locate, and rescue a shot down bomber crew. On your first sub-mission your job is to cross a railroad bridge heavily guarded on both sides, and meet with your escort down river.

Graphics/Display:

The view is either behind the person, or 3rd person. (Out of their eyes) Pretty standard 3DFx, but I was dissapointed that at a distance it's very hard to make anything out. A really big dissapointment was that the scope on the sniper rifles, and the binoculars doesn't zoom at all. Sometimes the only way to tell where an enemy soldier is standing is to follow the tracer rounds back to him, but by the time you do that, your usually dead.

Interface/Controls:

This is fairly easy keyboard/mouse controls, and if you have played any first person type games (Doom/Quake, etc.) then your pretty much set. Sound is pretty standard for a shoot-em-up. Overall the game is pretty sweet, with the exceptions noted above. The game draws you into the action right away, and never lets up.

Multiplayer (if any):
