Nascar Revolution

Take Nascar 99, make it smoother, add a few legends, revamp the pit area, and you have Nascar Revolution.

Graphics/Display:

Graphics are extremely smooth on my 333A Celeron with a VooDoo II. They took their time and made sure the frame rates were up to par. The car graphics were well done, with the exception of inside the car, and the starter (The guy who waves the flag). The drivers hands and arms looked cartoonish, almost laughable.

Interface/Controls:

Interface was very easy to use. The menus are keyboard driven (using the arrow keys), driving can be keyboard, joystick, gamepad or wheel. I opt for the joystick simply because I don't have a wheel. The car responded nicely and realistically, and the pit stop animations are pretty cool. The sound effects are very well done in this game. The roar of the engine, the squeeling of the tires, the roar of the crowd, well, what else do you expect for a racing game?

Multiplayer (if any):

I have yet to try this game mulitplayer, although I assume it would be pretty much the same as Nascar. Multiplayer all depends on how well your fellow gamers can drive. (Dag namit! Pyro, are you driving backwards around the track again????)
