Powerslide

Powerslide is a cross between Motorcross Madness and Need For Speed 3... It's an offroad racing game that takes place on 3 tracks to start with. The first is this desert track that I was able to take first on the first time I played it, the next is a basic oval/round track that's actually harder that it looks, and the third is the 'dam track' ... It's in this washedout place that's partially on a dam... It's a pretty hard track, as I couldn't get any better than third after playing it like 3 times...
The graphics are nice on a voodoo 2 card (3dfx) and they are rather smooth. The cars tend to slide a lot (hence the name, powerslide) but are not bad to handle. You basically just hit the go button and try to stear around the track as best you can while staying on course. The direction arrow is a little annoying as it's in the upper left of your screen and you actually have to make an effort to look at it to see where you are going... Either than that, the game is a good one for a racing game... I guess I'd rather play NFS3 but this is a close second.
